- The Nissan site indicates that Consult III Plus R2R has the capability to perform 99 and newer emissions programming, but your site states that NERS J2534 software is required for this capability. Do I have to purchase both of these software subscriptions? Here is a copy and paste from Nissan.

At this point it is complicated. Consult III R2R software does not require NERS to program. However, we have heard from technicians who have attempted to program later model vehicles (2018, 2019) that the option was greyed out when they attempted it.
